Dutch old school death/grind band Grind Minded is pleased to announce the addition of bassist Gea Mulder to their lineup. Gea has been in bands such as Mirdyn and Pharmacon. "We are excited to have Gea as part of the Grind Minded family." said guitarist Jerry Duinkerken. "She's turning out to be an awesome bass player, she's learned much of our material already, and she will only make the band stronger," Duinkerken said. The change came in response to news that former bassist Jasper Bolderjik was leaving the band earlier this year. Grind Minded will be beginning to play out live with Mulder later this month, in support of their brand new full length album entitled Domestic Violence.

Open Grave Records has announced the signing of Dutch death metal band GRIND MINDED. The group is preparing to enter the studio to begin recording its second full-length effort, due later in the year.

GRIND MINDED's first full-length album, "9 mm Facial" was recorded at Sing Sing studios in Metslawier and was released in September 2004. The band's most recent recording was a three-song promotional CD, which was completed in December 2006 at Fredde's Dirty Bird Productions in in Hoogeveen, Netherlands.
